The album is dedicated to the late father of the group’s frontman, Tomeletso Sereetsi who told Arts & Culture that the launch will be a celebration of the unique Botswana four-string folk guitar traditionally made famous by giants like Stampore, George Swabi, Dikgang Malete and Sam Raditsebe to name but a few.

Sereetsi, who dedicated the album to his late father, said Sereetsi & The Natives would play all of the music from the new Motoko album and other favourites from the debut Four String Confessions.

The man who started music at Somerset in Francistown as a boy will serenade the crowd with new offerings such as Kgatlha Thuu, Mpompela, Nthapelele, Boteng Teng and Mpopi and others. The ticket for the launch is sold at P200 and the event will start at 7.30pm.
