HTC Corp would be releasing its new smartphone which will be the successor of HTC One and will be called HTC One 2. The HTC One 2 is expected to come with 4.7 inch display which is the same as of HTC One. It will stick with the 1080p resolution. Similar to the HTC One, it will come with the same curved aluminum back. According to the reports, the device will run on Android 4.4 KitKat or whatever iteration of Android is dominant by that time.
The device is rumored to be named as the HTC M8. It is expected that it would be featuring a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chip processor. It is expected that it will come with 4 megapixel UltraPixel camera and 2.1 megapixel front facing camera. As far as storage is concerned the device will be coming with 16GB of internal storage and 2GB of RAM. HTC One was a 4G handset and it is expected that its successor will come with the same configuration.
The device will be available in Black, Blue, gold and silver colors similar to that of HTC One. As far as the price is concerned, HTC One 2 is expected to follow the same pattern as HTC One. HTC One cost around £500 SIM-free and was available for £40 on a monthly contract. HTC has not made any official announcement as to when the device will be launched, but it is expected that it would be released sometime near February 2014.
