The team was plunged into crisis following the resignation of chairperson and financier, Rapula Okaile last week. Already the team was swimming in debt, as the players’ salaries are more than two months in arrears.
Coach, Rudolfo Zapata told Mmegi Sport this morning that the training session has been cancelled again as players demand their dues.
"Effectively, it’s 20 days since we trained. It's a difficult situation," Zapata said.
The club is entangled in a damaging internal fight, with some supporters dragging the current committee to court, challenging its legitimacy.
He wants the club to withdraw two cases before the courts, and also demands an apology for those who dragged him to court for defamation.
They have dropped a massive 17 points behind title favourites, Township Rollers, and were dumped out of the Mascom Top 8 by Orapa United in the finals, bringing an early end to their interest to the season.
Their only target would be to stay within the top eight, as they are fifth with 26 points.
