This afternoon, authoritative sources told Mmegi that the BDP's central committee had dismissed all the other 25 appeals, some featuring high profile democrats including several Cabinet ministers.
In Bobirwa, Kgathi had initially lost against Francis Kgoboko, while In Kgalagadi North, Moipisi had bitten the dust against Talita Monnakgotla.
Meanwhile, the BDP's National Youth Wing Congress has been postponed to 2020.
party's National Youth Executive Committee (NYEC) told the central committee that the time could be better spent preparing for the general elections.
"Youth elections are notorious for factionalism and fomenting divisions in the party. The NYEC felt a Congress would unnecessarily divide the party at a time it was supposed to unite for the general elections," sources told Mmegi.
