Banyana Banyana have arrived in Bulawayo ahead of the start of the Cosafa Cup Women's Championship in the Zimbabwean city later this week.
The three time Cosafa Champions flew out earlier on Monday for the 12 day event which will see 11 other countries compete for the title.
Although Banyana Banyana have dominated the Cosafa Women's Championship by winning three of the four finals since its inception in 2002, they are going into uncharted waters on this occasion.
Since the Rio Olympics last year, the team has undergone a number of changes. There will be a number of new faces when Banyana Banyana play Lesotho in their opening match at the Luveve Stadium in Bulawayo on Thursday afternoon.
In addition, it will be Banyana Banyana's first competitive outing since their 2-0 loss to France in Reunion in January. However, interim coach Desiree Ellis is confident ahead of the tournament.
